Techno-Viper

Techno-Vipers are Cobra's field technicians and combat-engineers. If a HISS tank or any other war machine breaks down on the battlefield, Techno-Vipers are the ones to call for the job.

When Destro and the Baroness hid out in the secret passageways of the Silent Castle, the Techno-Vipers blew a hole in the wall by Cobra Commander's throne in the main hall to create an entrance to them. Unfoldings!

A while later, Cobra Commander struck a deal with Megatron, where Cobra would upgrade the Decepticon leader's body in exchange for the alien technology stored within the Ark. Under Dr. Biggles Jones's supervision, several Techno-Vipers aided in the re-fitting of Megatron's new exo-structure. Realignments They then helped the Doctor analyze the Ark, and all of the marvelous gizmos stored within it. Other Techno-Vipers, stationed at Silent Castle, ignored a beeping radar when Destro, the Baroness and Zartan entered the nearby airspace, attributing the alarm to owls out on a hunt. Goin' South

After Cobra ran into difficulty controlling one of their HISS units created out of Cybertronians found dormant within the Ark, several Techno-Vipers overlooked the automaton to determine what was the problem. Under the supervision of Doctor Mindbender, they hacked into the Cybertronian's brain. They were forced to shut down the operation when the robot started downloading a virus into their systems. G.I. Techno-Vipers were next seen working on the Soundwave unit during Destro's visit of Cobra's labs. They were trying to use its system to remotely control S.N.A.K.E.s mech-suits. Destro decided he wanted to test the machine personally, and took command of Soundwave, shooing away the Techno-Vipers. G.I. Joe vs. the Transformers #3

Some time later, Wheeljack managed to hack through Cobra Island's systems in seconds, sending all active Techno-Vipers into a panic. One Techno-Viper urged a Tele-Viper to reassert control over their Cybertronian slaves, but whatever hoped they had of salvaging the situation vanished when the Reflector trio burst into the control room, intent on taking revenge on the humans for subjugating them. Multiple Techno-Viper trainees were present in Cobra's hidden cybernetics laboratory in the Pyrenees, where they coordinated with the Decepticons in an effort to construct a prototype attack drone that incorporated Cybertronian technology. Cobra/Con Fusion

A Cobra base in the Apex contained multiple Techno-Vipers. Another Techno-Viper assisted Lord MindWaveZ with the construction of the Multidimensional Collider that would permanently fuse many worlds into one universe. Worlds Collide: Battle for the Multiverse
