After encountering Starscream, a strange new Decepticon, and a corrupted Autobot from another reality, Optimus entrusts the Matrix of Leadership to the Commander. - Scout Bots quickly eliminate opponents with frequent Special Attacks and a high Critical Rate. Their rapid attacks gives them an advantage over Tech bots.
- Tech Bots generate shields, manipulate Power, and equip some of the most advanced custom weaponry. Their shielding abilities helps them when facing Demolitions bots.
- Demolitions Bots are burst damage experts that buff their Special Attacks for bigger, bolder, explosions. Their fewer attacks gives them an advantage over Tactician bots.
- Tactician Bots' strong synergies and master strategies help them adapt during a fight to turn their enemies' strength against them. Their anti-Armor abilities helps them when facing Brawler bots.
- Brawler Bots are armored allies and furious foes that value strength at any cost. Their have low Critical Rate and high attack gives them an advantage over Warrior bots.

Notes
- Generation 1 and movie characters are clearly differentiated with their proper classic and movieverse insignias and transformation sounds.
- Oddly, Beast Wars characters don't play a transformation sound at all.
- Though based on New Quintessa, the actual fights take place in various environments, which appear to be Forgotten Ruins/Shattered Lands, an arena with a First Autobot insignia in the center circle and surrounded by huge body parts of the in-game fighters, Egypt, Chicago, and Hong Kong.
