- Daytrader is an Autobot from the The Last Knight portion of the live-action film series continuity family.

Part junk trader, part merchant, and part mechanic, Daytrader is the kind of person you'll find in any hardscrabble, survival-based economy if you look hard enough. More interested in peddling his (admittedly diverse) array of scavenged wares than any hardcore fighting, Daytrader looks out for himself and thus tends to lurk on the periphery of any given conflict—a habit that, in conjunction with his dubious merchandise, irritates his fellow Autobots to no end.

Daytrader served as a supplier to the Autobots hiding in Cade Yeager's scrapyard, scouring Transformer battlefields for usable salvage. Arriving at the scrapyard shortly after Cade, Bumblebee and Hound following their recent trip to Chicago, having been let in, against Cade request, by Jimmy in exchange for an alien gun. Daytrader dodged the carelessly-thrown explosives and weathered the more pointed insults from the crew, as the Autobots expressed their annoyance that he'd yet to provide them with a ship to get them mobile and preferably off-planet.
He instead offered them various bits of scrap he'd found, including Starscream's head and a functional voicebox for Bumblebee. He noticed the talisman in Cade's jeep, but believed it to be a replica, as the appearance of the real deal would be a sign that getting off-world as soon as possible would be the best course of action. The trades made, he trundled off to find new wares and, as he put it, slather himself head to toe in hot oil, an image Drift found particularly disturbing. He also seemed keen to get away before they realized that the new voicebox would give Bumblebee a voice very much not his own.
Shortly after the arrival of Cybertron in Earth space, Daytrader made good on his old promise and delivered a ship to the Autobots at Cade's scrapyard, which brought them to Stonehenge for the final battle, though its unclear if he accompanied them. The Last Knight
Notes

- Daytrader appears to be much more battle-worthy that he appears, it being implied that he defeated the legions of mercenaries, Steeljaws, and Stupid Drones previously seen staffing the Knight Ship (provided they were still aboard the ship).
- Early concept art of Daytrader depicted him with a head directly based off his voice actor Steve Buscemi. It is the stuff of nightmares.
