This article is about the Decepticon. For the weapon, see Agonizer Blade.
Agonizer is a Decepticon from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
"Curation is about knowing which pieces belong together."

Built at the same time as Krok, there's nothing that the brutal Agonizer enjoys more than going out every night and decapitating Autobots... except, perhaps, going out every night and swiping valuable historical artifacts that he can make a killing on later.

Fiction

IDW Generation 1 continuity

After the war ended, Agonizer gave up fighting and settled down to become an antiquarian in a Howling Town on the planet Troja Major. Some Of My Best Friends Are Autobots Preferring to be called "The Curator", he worked with the Camien Nautica at one point, exchanging a rare first edition of Towards Peace for her assistance in translating some Spectralist symbols. Towards Peace An Axe to Break the Ice

During a subsequent visit to Troja Major, Nautica and Velocity met with "The Curator" in his Museum of Curios and Rumored Objects under the premise of searching for information on the Knights of Cybertron. After acknowledging that Agonizer didn't have a map to Cyberutopia, Nautica pressed him for anything else pertaining to the Knights. His collection included a compendium of third-hand sightings, a reliquary donated by the Circle of Light, and a display of five symbols, each of which Agonizer theorized belonged to five clans that made up the Knights of Cybertron. Due to Nautica's lack of enthusiasm, he asked her if she was looking for something more "tangible", to which she inquired about the Resus Cradle, an object that he admitted he didn't have in his possession, but might belong to a Catharsian on the other end of town.

Among Agonizer's other items of interest were an "uncensored" draft of the Autobot Code, a slim volume of poetry written by Megatron, and an early version of the Decepticon Justice Division's hit list. An Axe to Break the Ice
