Taking patriotism to the nth level.

The D-Class Worldsweeper, P-6 model is a famous model of Decepticon warship mimicking the Decepticon insignia, earning them the informal name of Symbol Ships. They possess several notable features and attributes, including a complement of Cybernoughts, and an unfortunate tendency to crash.

Fiction

IDW Generation 1 continuity

The Worldsweepers saw action during the height of the Decepticon offensive, and were associated with the heyday of the Decepticon Empire. The Decepticons stationed at least one Worldsweeper over every planet in the Constellate. Noted Decepticons like Shockwave and Sixshot have commanded their own Worldsweepers in the past. Who's Afraid of the DJD?

Worldsweepers were favored by Scorponok in his guise as the Grand Architect, using them to conduct experiments and move his forces around. Their speed left something to be desired, though. Animals An Axe to Break the Ice One such Worldsweeper crashed on the planet Clemency, full of horrors such as deformed protoforms, a ceiling covered with brain modules, and organic flesh that had been bled into the ship's fuel supply, polluting it. Also, there was a non-functional robot made entirely of wood. A band of Decepticon Scavengers led by Krok later found the ship and went aboard where they discovered a stasis-locked Grimlock. Rules of Disengagement Under threat from the Decepticon Justice Division, the Scavengers staged an ambush near the Worldsweeper using the circuit speeder-spiked Grimlock as bait. During the ensuing battle, Crankcase took control of one of the ship's Cybernoughts, but when the D.J.D. left the field of conflict to pursue bigger fish, the Scavengers abandoned the Worldsweeper and left Clemency in the Weak Anthropic Principle.
