Accel

Accel is a Mini-Con from the Super Link portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.

Because nothing lasts forever in the cold November rain.

Accel (アクセル Akuseru), along with his teammates Screw and Throttle in the City Stealth Team, assist the Autobots in searching the galaxy for deposits of raw Energon ore. The trio combines to form the robot Windcharger.

• Accel (Micron, 2004)

A redeco of the Energon/Cybertron Perceptor component High Wire, Accel transforms into a dirt-racing motorbike of undetermined model. He forms the head and backpack of the combined robot Windcharger.

The figure was exclusively available at Japanese Toys"R"Us stores with the purchase of 2000 yen worth of Super Link toys, and was limited to 4000 pieces countrywide.

This toy doubles as the Beast Wars: Uprising character Axle, and the same mold is used by the Micron Booster Brake.

Notes

• Accel's name is sometimes rendered in English as "Axle", but this does not match the standard spelling in Japanese for "axle" (アクスル akusuru). It was this rendering that led to the Beast Wars: Uprising incarnation of the character bear the "Axle" name.
