- Janine Melnitz is a Ghostbusters-affiliated human from the Generation 1 continuity family.
Janine Melnitz is the Ghostbusters' secretary, taking calls from clients and sending the team on jobs. Given all the paranormal encounters she's had since being hired, there's not much that fazes her anymore, but when things break or go wrong, she's usually the one that has to clean up the mess.
She doesn't get paid nearly enough for this.
