| This article is about the spinning weapon from Beast Era. For the spinning weapon from the live-action film continuity, see Rotor blaster. |

A Cyber-slash tail weapon[1] is a rotate blade used by the Predacon/Maximal Dinobot. When Dinobot transforms to robot mode, his velociraptor tail converts into a two-pronged blade that spins and spins. When deployed, it can batter enemies, deflect enemy fire, trim down wild bean vines, or, when its wielder is up in the air, provide a more gentle, controlled descent.
It has several other names:
- Veloci-Rotor blade[2]
- Rotary Blade[3]
- "slasher weapon"[4]
- "spinning blade weapon"[5]
- Cyber Shield (サイバー・シールド Saibā Shīrudo)
Several other Beast Era transformers have similar or identical weapons:
- Grimlock's rotate blade is called a Spinning Slasher Sword.
- Thrustor's rotate blade is a Raptor Shield (ラプターシールド Raputā Shīrudo).
- Hardhead's rotate blade is the Revolution Shield.
- Dinotron's version of this weapon is called merely a "spinning blade".
