After expressing his desire to own a Devcon shortly after its online reveal, Michael Charles Hill was offered a figure and free pass to the convention. He accepted and made a brief appearance at the G1 Retrospective panel. He stood up from among the audience, introduced himself as the character's creator, and received a round of applause.
