This article is about the Mini-Con from the 2010 Transformers toyline. For the Constructicon elder from Exodus, see Drivetrain (WFC).
Drivetrain is a Decepticon-allied Mini-Con from the Unicron Trilogy continuity family (via the 2010 Transformers toyline).

Drivetrain is a Mini-Con to be reckoned with. Combining brains, brawn, and skill in one small package, his high rank is not surprising. Excelling in almost all other areas, a lack of speed seems to be his only real weakness.

Fiction

Ask Vector Prime

Vector Prime was familiar with one version of Drivetrain from Aurex 503.01 Gamma. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/06/14

Toys

Transformers (2010)

  • Drivetrain (Mini-Con, 2010)
Drivetrain is a minor retool of Cybertron Reverb, transforming into a red Dodge Ram pickup truck. He was only sold on an individual cardback in discount store chains like Family Dollar in the United States.
This mold was also used to make Plier, Platinum Material, and Guardian Powered.

Notes

  • There was no indication what universe Drivetrain was from on his packaging. The Facebook edition of Ask Vector Prime would later declare him to be a Unicron Trilogy character.
  • All four of the Mini-Cons in this assortment come on red cards like the Generations toys, but lack the "Generations" on the logo, thus this wiki classifies them as "2010" product.
  • The back of his package misidentifies Drivetrain's pick-up truck mode as a "Dump Truck".
