- Powerchord is an Autobot from the Generation 1 continuity family.

This character has no official visual representation in any Transformers product or media... yet, at least.
Powerchord is the lead singer and front-bot for the Rock Bots. He's full of manic energy on stage and oddly accomplished off of it.
Fiction
Ask Vector Prime
Powerchord is more than just the face and voice of the Rock Bots, though he is that. He is also a spacecraft pilot, with a Class-A commercial license. He flies his band's private ship, the Rock Force One, from gig to gig. He also has his own micro-brewery, making renowned canned oil. Not bad for a bot with a guitar as an alt mode.
His co-member, Feedback, has had problems with addiction, but Powerchord always stands by him, because he's just that kind of bot. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/09/28
2019 IDW continuity
Lightbright enjoyed dancing to one of Powerchord's songs about partying on Velocitron. The Change In Your Nature Part Five
Toys
The Transformers
- Two Rock Bots would have been sold together in a two-pack. One of them would have turned into a guitar, while the other one turned into an amplifier. In robot mode, they would have had rooted hair, simulating the type of hair worn by hair metal musicians (well, "hard rock bands") of the 1980s.
