G.I. Joe is an ongoing comic series from Skybound Entertainment that debuted in November 2024. The third ongoing title of the Energon Universe, continuing the G.I. Joe and Cobra storylines, started by the Duke, Cobra Commander, Scarlett, and Destro mini-series.

- As part of the pre-release marketing for the series, Skybound ran a "Choose Your Side" promotion from July 3 to September 8, 2024. A web form was created for members of the Skybound Insiders program to submit a photo of themselves and choose between G.I. Joe or Cobra as their favored faction, with the members' photos slated to appear in comic issues as part of a unique advertisement campaign.[1]
