I know there's no article yet, so I'm just using the talkpage as a sounding board. Is this an article that would be worth starting? I personally think there's a lot of great material we can discuss here, from the first unlicensed but blatantly matched Diaclone toys, to the first lawsuits from auto manufacturers, to the initial deals Hasbro and Takara worked out with Chrysler allowing the Dodge Viper in RiD, and the subsequent licensing talks and back-and-forth regarding Alternators/Binaltech. It'd be a great forum to discuss the difficulties with Volkswagen as well. Also a good place to list all toys with officially licensed vehicle modes. :Another main reason I'm sounding things out here is that I don't have all of this info at my fingertips other than knowing that there ''was'' a change in thought regarding real-life vehicles at several points during the brand's history, with significant signposts being the changeover to the movie characters, the first official licensed vehicles in RiD, the largest application of it in Alternators, and the final result of Hasbro and GM skipping along the beach to the tune of "So Happy Together" as of the live-action movie.--[[User:Rosicrucian|Rosicrucian]][[User Talk:Rosicrucian|Talk]] 15:28, 4 April 2008 (UTC)<div id="wikia-credits"><br /><br /><small>From [http://transformers.wikia.com Teletraan I: The Transformers Wiki], a [http://www.wikia.com Wikia] wiki.</small></div> | |||

What do you guys think?--RosicrucianTalk 00:12, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
