The Asahi Corporation - founded as Asahi Tsusho Co., Ltd. in 1955 - was a Japanese toy manufacturer, with their toys often being distributed through subsidiary Fujisho. They later became a subsidiary of Casio in 1991, and their shares were then transferred to Bandai, and ultimately became part of Denkyo Group Holdings since 2024 with the company now operating under the name of CCP Co., Ltd.
They're best known amongst Transformers fans for Fujisho's Attack Change Machine Powertron toyline, which would eventually be released in Brazil as the Transformers Bat-Robôs from Estrela. These molds have a long and complicated history (more of which is covered here), but in short; it seems that they were originally manufactured by Asahi but first released in the U.S. by toy company Ertl Company as the Pow-R-Trons before their Japanese Attack Change Machine Powertron versions. They were also released internationally in a number of other weird circumstances, including again in Brazil as the GoBots-derived toyline Mutante and a later set of Korean-exclusive Brave toys from Sonokong being seemingly modified version of this design.
