It comes with a sword as its sole accessory. It was released in a 2-pack with the fellow generic Decepticon "Elite Seeker". As part of the MTMTE Collection, this pack was exclusive to Target, with a small amount of stock also available through Hasbro Pulse.

"MTMTE Collection" Studio Series Ground Soldier is a redeco and new-head retooling of the Earthrise Runamuck/Runabout mold, transforming into an 80's sportscar somewhat reminiscent of a Lotus Esprit X180. In a somewhat restrained move for a Devastation-deco toy, only his windscreen is given cel-shading paint; curiously though, his rear window is black (and his rear-side windows are completely unpainted). Instead of either of the Battlechargers' blasters, he comes with a new-mold sword accessory.
He was released with his fellow generic Decepticon Elite Seeker in a Target-exclusive two-pack, with a small amount of stock also available through Hasbro Pulse.

Notes

 • The Warrior and Sergeant variations are based on the Battlechargers (taking many elements from their Timelines toys), while the Heavy Weapon variation is based on Blitzwing.
 • The Heavy Weapon Soldier is the largest non-combiner character in the game, standing twice as tall as even Optimus Prime and Grimlock (and Blitzwing, obviously).
