The name or term "Joshua" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Josh (disambiguation).

Joshua Williamson (born December 23, 1981) is an American comic book writer based in Portland, Oregon. He is best known for his four-year run on The Flash. He also wrote Batman, Green Arrow, and Robin for DC Comics, Birthright, Dark Ride, Ghosted, and Nailbiter for Image Comics and its Skybound Entertainment imprint, and other titles for Dark Horse Comics, IDW Publishing, and Marvel Comics.

Lately, Williamson has been writing Superman and returned to Skybound to work on a G.I. Joe line for the Energon Universe, coining the name[1] and co-launching the Absolute Universe.
