Notes
- Zoids began in 1982 and has continued after Tomy's 2006 merger with Takara. At the time of the above IDW comic story, Zoids was indeed in a dormant period, with Zoids: Wild not premiering until 2018.
- The Animated Decepticon Megadeath is described as transforming into a "Guylos EX-038 Assault Craft" from the first Zoids anime.
- Legacy toyline personnel Ben MacCrae and Mark Maher lampshaded the heavy Zoids influence that went into the beast mode of Legacy: United Thundertron by offering that the pirate had crash landed on the Zoid homeworld of Planet Zi and scanned one of the franchise's trademark ligers.[2]
