If you ever find yourself deep into the chasms of the Sea of Rust, then you better prepare for the Sparkless! These reanimated corpses, shockingly, have no spark, and still hunt for the sparks of the living to this day. Rusted and busted beyond repair, the Sparkless still have great enough strength to rip someone apart. They cannot be destroyed by simple fire blasts or slashing, so hope for a miracle or fraggin' run!

While searching for the Allspark in the Sea of Rust, Optimus Prime and his team tracked its last known coordinates down into a nearby valley. Optimus Prime sensed something troubling, and he proved right, as the Sparkless rose out of the ground soon after. The team was attacked by mindless reanimated corpses who sought to revive themselves by taking the sparks of living Cybertronians. Jetfire claimed the Sparkless were responsible for multiple deaths in the Sea of Rust and could reform after being hacked apart. Siege episode 5 The Sparkless quickly overwhelmed the group, managing to tear Moonracer down to her torso, killing her, but Optimus spotted and retrieved the Allspark, its power causing the Sparkless to disintegrate into dust. While Megatron searched for the Allspark on Earth, the Matrix of Leadership produced a hallucination of a swarm of the Sparkless attacking him. Having been drawn to the location of the Maximal Bluebolt by the smell of the Legendary Green Lion's decaying corpse, the Predacon Untite used his powers over the dead to summon a Sparkless Seeker to restrain the young Maximal. However, the magic circle that Bluebolt had drawn around the green lion's corpse began to light up, revealing a black lion. At first, the newly born Dark Amber Leo Prime refused to help the young Maximal, but the Energon Matrix in his chest began inflicting pain upon him, and he rescued Bluebolt from the Seeker's grasp by cutting of its hand. After sustaining injuries from Untite attempting to get his power, which he immediately healed by consuming dirt, Dark Amber cuts the Seeker to ribbons with his Angolmois Amber Claw. Part of the third assortment of toys promoting the Netflix War for Cybertron Trilogy cartoon, "Sparkless Bot" is a redeco of Siege Barricade, itself a retool of Siege Prowl, transforming into a Cybertronian emergency car. It has multiple 5 mm ports and 3 mm posts to accommodate the C.O.M.B.A.T. System/F.O.S.S.I.L. Technology weaponry and "Fire Blast" effects, respectively. Its two blasters can be mounted on these points, or the slots on his hood/shoulders, as well as combine into a larger double-barreled blaster. It also includes a light bar that can be mounted on its roof or wherever else you care to. The bar has an indent in its top that, despite being rectangular, still fits 5 mm posts very well.
This mold was previously redecoed as Smokescreen with Prowl's blaster and without the light-bar, which was also used for Bluestreak, albeit with the original Prowl head.
This toy, like most of the Netflix War for Cybertron Trilogy toys, is a Walmart exclusive in the U.S. and Canada. Like the rest of its Deluxe Class wave, Sparkless Bot was found in Walmart stores on March 13, before an official unveiling.

Also sold in the third War for Cybertron Trilogy series, the "Sparkless Seeker" is a redeco of Siege Thundercracker, itself a head retool of Siege Starscream. It transforms into a Cybertronian "tetrajet" based on the Seekers' appearance in "More than Meets the Eye, Part 1" although the jet mode has the robot-mode legs pretty much its entire robot body sticking out from the undercarriage. As a rather heavy shellformer, the Sparkless Seeker can easily be separated into both a wingless robot mode and a nearly complete tetrajet via a single friction hinge.
It has 5 mm ports on its biceps, forearms, shins, under its feet (vehicle-mode thrusters), and wings to attach any C.O.M.B.A.T. System/F.O.S.S.I.L. Technology weaponry, such as the included Battle Masters (though there are some clearance issues with the wing-ports with some Battle Masters) and/or the "HPI Null-Ray Laser Launchers." The 3 mm posts on its shins, forearms, left bicep, and the tips of his null-rays can accommodate "Fire Blast" effect parts, like the ones that come with his pack-in Battle Master partners.
Said Battle Masters, "Sparkless Caliburst" and "Sparkless Singe", are both redecoes of their respective normal-retail toys, each one transforming from a tiny robot into a blaster weapon. The double-gun-barrel portions of each are detachable, and can attach to their arms (or any other compatible toy) via 3 mm post. The tip of each barrel ends in a Fire Blast effect compatible peg; Caliburst comes with a large purple blast, while Singe has two smaller green energy "spikes".

Some releases of this toy have a molding flaw, giving them a giant scar going from the right side of their mouth all the way across the cheek.
This set, like most of the Netflix War for Cybertron Trilogy toys, is a Walmart exclusive in the U.S. and Canada. Much like its wavemate, Optimus Primal, Sparkless Seeker was also available on Hasbro Pulse in limited quantities. Both sets' stock photography and product descriptions were found in Walmart internal systems three days before an official unveiling for pre-order on March 15.

Notes

Green Seeker guy, no limbs.
  • The nature of the Sparkless is never explained, though a lot of the details surrounding their existence is somewhat reminiscent of Dark Energon; what with the glowing purple optics and the entire surrounding area being filled with large purple crystals. The Allspark was also shown to change the reality of the nearby area until it was taken by Optimus Prime in Kingdom episode 3 and 4, much like the Sparkless around the Allspark in Siege episode 6.
  • Par for the course with War for Cybertron Trilogy's extensive use of generics, the Sparkless's models are edited and retextured models of Sideswipe, Mirage, Ironhide, Hound, and Barricade, highly accurate to the toy molds. As per tradition, there are also Sparkless resembling edited and retextured Refraktors and Seekers.
  • Despite the show having both Autobots and Decepticons as part of the Sparkless, their toys have only listed them as Decepticons. This was probably done to market them as villains, similar to what the Cyberverse toyline did with the Scraplets, Pesticons, and Sharkticons.
  • The color scheme of the Sparkless Seeker toy seems closer to one of the generic Seeker color schemes seen in the War for Cybertron Trilogy cartoon, notably the Seeker without limbs under Ratchet's care in Siege episode 3.
