Oh no...
There goes Tokyo...

Godzilla (ゴジラ Gojira) is a mysterious creature similar to King Kong. He is big, green black most of the time, snorts fire, and is lizard-like.

Mechagodzilla exists as a robotic duplicate.

Fiction

Marvel The Transformers comics

With a purposeful grimace and a terrible sound...

Super-spy agency S.H.I.E.L.D. had encountered Godzilla before. Alerted to trouble in Oregon by Dum Dum, S.H.I.E.L.D. employee Nicholas Fury threatened to quit if it was "that big green, fire-snortin' lizard" again. Prisoner of War!

Earthforce

These stories do not fit into the normal Marvel continuity. See Earthforce for details.

When Superion was running amok in upper New York State under the influence of one of Bombshell's cerebro-shells, reporter Irwin Spoon compared him to Godzilla when the Autobots he encountered told him the Aerialbot combiner was actually one of the "good guys".

Prowl had absolutely no idea what Irwin was referring to. Inside Story!

IDW movie comics

While guarding Fearswoop, Jolt read the first issue of IDW's Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters comic. Rising Storm #3

In 2024, Megatron travelled to Earth through the space bridge. This attracted the attention of Godzilla; seeing power for what it was, Megatron scanned the DNA within the beast's cells, recreating Godzilla's energy and body within Megatron. However, absorbing the power of Godzilla's cells come at a price, instilling a desire for destruction in the Emperor of Destruction. Megatron and Godzilla faced off to see who was the strongest. • Megatron Type Godzilla (メガトロン Typeゴジラ, 2025)
Part of T-SPARK's Synergenex line of collector-targeted crossover toys celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Godzilla franchise, "Megatron Type Godzilla" is a retool of Studio Series 86 Grimlock, decked in colors representing the King of Monsters during the Millennium era. His dino neck is cast in translucent blue plastic partially painted black to evoke the charging of Godzilla's Atomic Breath, and he includes stackable blast effect parts, of the same set first introduced for Siege Omega Supreme, to represent this fiery attack. He has a new robot head, originally designed to be Sludge. His blaster, carried over from Grimlock, is now cast in silver plastic.
This figure was revealed alongside "Optimus Prime Type MFS-3 Kiryu", a Mechagodzilla-themed redeco of the Legacy Laser Optimus Prime as an homage to Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla and Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S..
