Rangefinder is one of many power-enhancing Mini-Cons scattered across the Earth. Specifically, Rangefinder is discovered in the Deep Amazon region.
Rangefinder is a member of the Green Mini-Con team. When Powerlinxed to a larger Transformer, Rangefinder enhances the effective firing range of all currently-armed weaponry, making him particularly dangerous when used in conjunction with Lookout. Rangefinder's fate is unknown following the final battle with Unicron.
