Reverse-pretender technology is an inversion of the usual Pretender process—rather than a Transformer hiding inside an organic shell, this technology allows a human to appear as a Transformer. It is unknown if it imparts a larger size, or if a human employing the technique would be a mere six or seven foot tall robot.

Notes
- The kid-becomes-robot stock endings used in Generation 1 toy commercials was retroactively identified as a use of reverse-pretender technology by the AllSpark Almanac in 2009. As these commericals appeared before the introduction of Pretenders, if taken literally this means reverse-pretender technology predates Pretender technology by several years.
