This article is about the Generation 2 subgroup. For other instances of color changing, see color change (disambiguation).
The Color Changers are an Autobot and Decepticon subgroup from the Generation 2 portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Color Changers are four Transformers with the ability to change colors. Exactly what purpose this serves in combat is unclear—perhaps it is used for camouflage akin to a chameleon. This ability is somewhat limited, as the Color Changers have to be in contact with water in order to make use of it, but luckily, they're all equipped with water cannons.
