- Deployers are Minicons from the Prime continuity family.
Deployers are Soundwave's Minicons that he deploys from his chest. While small by Cybertronian standards, at least one of them is larger than an Earth helicopter.

- The Deployer in the Prime cartoon deployed from Soundwave in a method reminiscent of the Breastforce's Breast Animals rather than the Generation 1 inspired method used in War for Cybertron.
- The producers intended the Deployer in "Darkness Rising" as a homage to Laserbeak, but declined to say whether it was him.[1]
