Frenzy is one of Soundwave's loyal minions. Though aggressive, Frenzy has a bit of a Napoleon complex and really hates being reminded of his size.

Soundwave sent Frenzy and Rumble to search for the Matrix of Leadership in Crystal City. Afterwards they attended Megatron and Orion Pax's hearing with the High Council. Exodus

When Optimus, Bumblebee, and Sideswipe came to rescue Zeta Prime from imprisonment in Kaon, they ran into Soundwave, who released Frenzy in defense. Frenzy put up a fight and didn't take kindly to comments about his size. Despite this, the Autobots managed to defeat Frenzy, and Soundwave recalled him.
