A cigar is a tube of dried tobacco leaves. They are designed so that a human can place one end in his mouth and light the other end on fire and puff the resulting smoke.
They are apparently also referred to as stogies.

Notes
- Kup was introduced in All Hail Megatron chomping on a cigar-like object as a form of humanizing. This caused significant enough fan commentary that Shane McCarthy belatedly hung a lampshade on it. Nevertheless, an in-fiction explanation was later retconned for it by Nick Roche in the All Hail Megatron Coda.
