Originally founded in Dallas, Texas in 1927, 7-Eleven bills itself as the "world’s largest operator, franchisor and licensor of convenience stores." As of 2013, the company claims 8,600 stores in the United States and Canada, plus another 42,300 facilities in such countries as Japan and Taiwan.
In addition to being home to various food- and food-related products based on the Transformers franchise, 7-Eleven often vends exclusive Transformers product.
