The Mechanic stole Radar Dish Number Three from Portland International Airport with the power booster rod. Security attempted to stop him, but they were easily swatted aside with weapons stolen from Ratchet.
At the Mechanic's base, Juan installed the radar dish, but paused to take care of a troublesome customer.
Once the two stole the Formax computer, Juan attached the computer to the dish. This setup allowed Juan to detect the upcoming Goldbug and two Portland Police Department helicopters. This didn't help much as the Autobots and the police managed to invade the base and send the Mechanic running. Mechanical Difficulties!
