The Terrorcons of the Energon Battles were a class of compact but deadly mass-produced Decepticons. Though some had surprisingly high intelligence, which would suggest some capacity for autonomy, they were usually considered expendable drones by Decepticon and Autobot alike. Terrorcons had an unusual ability, shared with the Omnicons, to handle and process raw Energon. Terrorcon altmodes generally take the form of robotic beasts.
During the fight to save Cybertron from the Unicron Singularity, a new type of Terrorcon would appear in the Scrapmetal drones.
