Terrorcon (Energon)

The Terrorcons of the Energon Battles are a class of compact but deadly mass-produced Decepticons. Though some have surprisingly high intelligence, which would suggest some capacity for autonomy, they are often seen as little more than expendable drones by Decepticon and Autobot alike. Terrorcons have an unusual ability, shared with the Omnicons, to handle and process raw energon,from which they can create energon weapons or power-booster cells known as Energon stars. Terrorcon altmodes generally take the form of robotic beasts.

Known Terrorcon types:

• Scorponok - scorpion type (only one exists)

• Battle Ravage/Command Ravage - puma type

• Divebomb - hawk type

• Cruellock/Doom-Lock - "zilla" (Hojoni?) type

• Insecticon - beetle type

During the fight to save Cybertron from the Unicron Singularity, a new type of Terrorcon would appear: the verminous Scrapmetal drones.
