Ian Corlett (sometimes credited as Ian James Corlett, born August 29, 1962) is a Canadian voice actor. Some of his better known roles include Coconuts from The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Bob from Reboot seasons 3 and 4, Dr. Wily from Captain N: The Game Master, Mega Man from the Ruby-Spears Mega Man series (!), Gnawgahyde from G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, Silver Shill from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Skales from Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu.
Although he reportedly hates dubbing anime [1], Corlett is well-known as the first English language voice of Goku in Dragon Ball Z. Some of his other dub roles include Dr. Tofu in Ranma 1/2 and Smooth Talker in Tenjho Tenge. Corlett is also a credited animation writer, having written scripts for Donkey Kong Country, the English localization of Dragon Ball Z and is the creator of the series Being Ian.
