Fiction

Hearts of Steel

One month after the disappearance of the USS Miskatonic somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean, the Indomitable happened upon one of its lifeboats. As the captain and Carruthers were discussing what could have sunk the American ship, they were shocked to see that the lifeboat was full of grisly corpses, all the occupants seemingly having died of fear. With several nations having lost ships in the Atlantic by this point, their governments agreed to assemble a fleet and investigate the nearby town of Port Cenotaph. As part of this fleet, the Indomitable and her crew participated in the battle with the minions of the Elder God rising from the ocean depths. Infestation 2: The Transformers #2

Notes

  • Though there have been a couple of ships named HMS Indomitable in real life, none were in service in 1888.
