The name or term "Vehicon" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Vehicon (disambiguation).
Vehicons are Decepticons from the Age of Extinction portion of the live-action film series continuity family

The Vehicons transform into vehicles used by the elite Cemetery Wind taskforce.

Are they man-made Transformers from KSI? Decepticons who cut a deal? The world may never know...

Toys

Age of Extinction

  • Breakout Battle (Platinum Edition set, 2014)
    • Accessories: Blaster/claw
A redeco of Dark of the Moon Crankcase, the Vehicon is available only in a Platinum Editon set with Rollbar and Optimus Prime. He transforms from a robot into a modified Chevrolet Suburban (representing the modified Cadillac Escalades seen on-screen), and includes a MechTech weapon that converts from blaster to claw.
Vehicon sports tampographed "2764-K-03" markings, which are a reference to the online handle "SAGE2764" related to former Hasbro designer Joe Kyde.
This toy uses the variant hand version of Crankcase which has new finger details molded rather than the harshly snipped stub finger.

  • Vehicon (Power Battlers, 2014)
Part of the final wave of the Power Battlers assortment, the Vehicon transforms into a Local Motors Rally Fighter. His gimmick can be toggled by pushing his left shoulder in. Pushing down on a tab formed by his windshield activates his "chainsaw thrash" attack which sees a gatling gun telescope out of his fist as his saw blade spins around it while he slashes his arm up and down.
As a tail-ender for the Power Battlers assortment, Vehicon eventually fell victim to "tail end of the line" syndrome, and wasn't officially released until much later than initially planned, not helped by a massive slowdown at US West Coast docks caused by union action. Thus far, Vehicon has only been available in Hasbro's Asian markets, from online retailers and discount stores like Ross, T.J.Maxx, Big Lots, and Five Below.
Despite having a Local Motors logo tampographed on his rear, his package features no call-outs for the company at all.

Notes

  • Both Vehicon toys are based on non-transforming vehicles used by the 'Cemetery Wind' taskforce in the Age of Extinction film.
