Generation 1
- Seawave (Micron, 2008)
- Seawave is a redeco of the Cybertron Giant Planet Team Mini-Con Deepdive, transforming into a submarine of undetermined model. He was only available in exclusive 2-packs of Boss coffee drink in Japan for a limited time, along with Cradon and "metallic" PVC mini-figurines of Optimus Prime, Megatron, and Starscream, one of the five items packed in each special 2-pack of cans.
- This mold was also used to make Astro-Sinker, who was also repurposed into Shattered Glass Submarauder, and Diveplane.
Notes
- Seawave and Cradon being Generation 1 characters was largely speculative for several years. There was nothing directly identifying them as belonging to a specific timeline, but as all of the other pack-ins were straight-up Generation 1 characters, well.
- In 2015, the Facebook edition of Ask Vector Prime would identify them as Unicron Trilogy characters.
- Despite the three toys in the Giant Planet Team set being gang-molded (and thus the parts were cast for it), TakaraTomy never released the third mold from the set, the plane. Whether they were ever going to in the first place or not is unknown. Going by Seawave and Cradon's colors, the final toy would have been almost wholly bright blue. This was later referenced in the Ask Vector Prime entry about them.
