Although his personality and goals may vary from universe to universe, Soundwave is always committed to his agenda, and is frequently willing to do whatever it takes to ensure its completion, taking even the most grievous setbacks in stride. In many universes, he commands a small army of deployable minions, all of whom are unflinchingly loyal to their master.
In some universes, he eventually becomes Soundblaster.
