Once upon a time, he defended Gobotron alongside his old friend Cy-Kill, but a schism tore the two allies apart, forcing Cy-Kill to reluctantly take up arms against the evil Renegades. Ever the do-gooder, he's had plenty of adventures on Gobotron, Quartex, and Earth, battling against Cy-Kill's wacky, overly-convoluted schemes. In one notable adventure, he temporarily wound up joining the Renegades after losing his memory.	On ancient, pre-cataclysm Gobotron, Leader-1 was a humble archivist named Luther Unum. Hmmm. Scooter	Scooter (duh)	The smallest and kid-friendliest member of the Guardians, Scooter would much rather tinker with computers than fight the Renegades. Although he has no weapons, his hologram projector lets him create illusions, and he's befriended the UNECOM cadet Nick, who's helped him to overcome some his cowardice. Always timid, he had one particularly scary adventure where he thought he was turning into a Were-GoBot! Another time, he dressed up as Santa Claus and helped distribute Christmas presents. Turbo	Gobotronic sports car	Leader-1's second-in-command, the gruff Turbo is a no-nonsense kind of 'bot... although he'll gladly throw his own life on the line to protect smaller Guardians or innocent lifeforms from Renegade tyranny. Since coming to Earth, he's befriended the UNECOM cadet named AJ Foster. In one embarrassing incident, he was manipulated by the Renegades into arresting a group of Quartex diplomats. In another escapade, he and Crasher time-travelled to the year 2085, where the GoBots were planning to abandon their old robotic bodies in favour of organic ones. Path Finder	Gobotronic starship	A confident Guardian with a space-worthy alternate mode. Path Finder put her capabilities to good use defending a UNECOM outpost on Mercury against a Renegade incursion. She was ultimately overwhelmed by Twin Spin, Pincher, and Blades. Man-O-War	Iowa-class Battleship Hovercraft (Transformer disguise)	Man-O-War is a legendary veteran and one of the earliest Guardians to sign up, rising up the ranks fast out of necessity. Rest-Q	Ambulance	As the Guardian's main medic, Rest-Q was dispatched to Earth after Leader-1 was critically injured and in a coma. Small Foot	Toyota Hilux	Small Foot is a cheerful idealist. Her inquisitive attitude and can-do spirit has helped her through all sorts of predicaments. Notably, she and several other female Go-Bots took part in a contest on the planet Athena, where she raced against Crasher. Treds	M1 Abrams	Along with some other Guardians, Treds competed in a high-stakes game of basketball against the Renegades. Ace	P-51 Mustang	Ace and some other Guardians battled against Optimus Prime and his team of dimension-hopping Spy Changers, assuming them to be Renegades. The Guardians had the upper hand until Cy-Kill intervened, forcing Ace and the others to retreat.		Cartoon profile Toy review
Apollo	Saturn V rocket	Apollo was one of a six-bot crew returning to Gobotron after a lengthy scouting expedition, one launched shortly after the Gobot conversion process was implemented. Scorp and Crain Brain, flying in Space Hawk interceptors, observed them. Cy-Kill subsequently captured all of the crew except Apollo, who escaped to warn the Guardians. Apollo returned with Leader-1's team to rescue the scouts, but Vain Train and Double Decker chose to defect.	Apollo is heavily implied to be a repurpose of a Machine Robo toy that never made it into the GoBots line, as are the rest of the colonists.	Toy review
Beamer	BMW M1	Beamer is a recent graduate of the Guardian Academy. He participated in an important attack on the Renegade flagship, Rogue Star, but retreated after Cy-Kill and a large number of new Renegade recruits returned from another dimension to turned the tide. Beamer, Sky Fly, and Guide Star were attacked by Odd Ball, Breez, and Pow Wow and eventually forced to flee. Bent Wing	Fighter plane	Bent Wing is a rebellious young Guardian who studied at the Academy under Major Mo. Although her unit were framed by Bladez and the Master Renegade, the "Robo Rebels" were able to clear their name and graduate with distinction. After an attack on Gobotron's scientific moon, the Robo Rebels temporarily developed a biter rivalry with the Guardian Secret Riders.	Though she had a toy, Bent Wing did not appear in the Challenge of the GoBots cartoon. She appears only in stories from "Renegade Rhetoric."	Toy review
Blaster	M33 Missile tank	Blaster, along with Hans-Cuff and Flip Top, attempted to prevent a Cy-Kill from escaping Gobotron's prison moon. They failed. Along with several other Guardians and Renegades, he was taken prisoner by alien Overseers, but managed to escape.	Blaster's failure to keep Cy-Kill incarcerated is lifted from the Challenge of the Gobots five-parter, "The Gobotron Saga". Bolt	Lockheed P-38 Lightning	Bolt and some other Guardians battled against Optimus Prime and his team of dimension-hopping Spy Changers, assuming them to be Renegades. The Guardians had the upper hand until Cy-Kill intervened, forcing the Guardians into a retreat.		Cartoon profile Toy review
Bullet	Series-0 Shinkansen train	Bullet is the older brother of Vain Train and picked on him. The two were on a lengthy scouting expedition soon after the GoBots were created and were captured by Renegades when they came home. Before they were rescued, Cy-Kill evilly used a mind control device to exacerbated Bullet's tendency to belittle Vain Train, which made his bro go Renegade!	Bullet and his chums are repurposed Machine Robo toys which never made it into the GoBots line. His sibling rivalry is a nod to the Trainbots Shouki and Yukikaze, with Bullet being Shouki. Bullseye	B-1 Lancer	Bullseye, serving on Command Center 6, eventually captured Cy-Kill near Galleon... not knowing the villain was taking a dive! Later, during a battle with Renegade clones, Bullseye ironically freed Cy-Kill from a cell before being shot down by the clone Cy-Kill Prime.	In the cartoon, Bullseye is historically important: the one man in Cy-Kill's Guardian team that didn't go Renegade and instead warned the Guardian Council. Courageous	Combiner	Courageous is the Last Engineer's newest creation, a Power Warrior formed of four Guardians in Powersuits and his own spaceship (also called Courageous). It served as a recurring trump card for the Guardians! An irked Cy-Kill would try to create his own combiners to match it, with two incarnations of Puzzler, the knock-off Grungy, and Monsterous; this would eventually culminate in the Combiner Wars on Quartex, with Courageous and Fossilsaurus proving a winning team! In the 'amalgam' timeline, Courageous replaced the Dinobots in engaging Devastator at Autobot City.	Any four Guardians can use the Power Suits. The Renegade's Grungy is a repaint of Courageous. Dart	Honda VF1000R	Dart is just like Winston Churchill, in that he's ratted and reratted: he was once a Guardian, then was the first man with Fitor to join Cy-Kill's new Renegades, then rejoined the Guardians after a bad experience with Gunnyr.		Cartoon profile Toy profile

Dive-Dive	Los Angeles class nuclear submarine (ooer!)	Dive-Dive's alternate mode is utterly useless on Gobotron, but on Earth he serves as a talented underwater specialist. Without Dive-Dive, Earth might never have stood a chance against a rebellion of sentient cetaceans. Another time, he helped the Guardians against the evil prate Greenbeard and his Renegade allies. Dozer	Bulldozer (obviously)	Dozer served on Command Center 14 when Cy-Kill's Thruster was found off Galleon. Commander Center 14 was blown up and Dozer also blown up, by booby trap, taking Cy-Kill in (and he'd wanted to be locked up for a scheme anyway!). Dumper	Dump truck	Dumper (huh huh) served on Command Center 14 when Cy-Kill's Thruster was found off Galleon. Commander Center 14 was blown up and Dumper injured by booby trap when he and Dozer cornered Cy-Kill. Flip Top	Kaman SH-2 Seasprite	Flip Top once guarded Cy-Kill's cell and pretty much failed at it. In Small Foot's vision of GoBots suffering at Unicron's hands, Flip Top was among them. Guide Star	Space shuttle	Guide Star had recently graduated Guardian Academy when he was dispatched to the final battle on the Cy-Kill-less Renegades of the Rogue Star. Hans-Cuff	Toyota Crown Patrol Car	Hans-Cuff is a top cop and security guard, who has achieved the following great things: he once failed to stop Cy-Kill escaping jail, he was conned into arresting the framed Robo Rebels, he arreasted the framed Rock Lords too, and a version of him in Strata 22 thought Autobot visitors were baddies and fought & arrested Silverstreak. Hi-Way	A bus, we think???	Hi-Way was the haughty captain of a scouting expedition, soon after the GoBot process was invented. On return home, he and the crew were captured. Crewman Decker Decker blamed Hi-Way for this; Cy-Kill thus used his mind-control powers to increase Hi-Way's haughtiness, driving Decker Decker to join the Renegades. Jack Attack	Mini Cooper 1300S with Union Jack deco	Jack Attack was one of a six-bot scouting expedition launched shortly after the GoBot conversion process was implemented. On return home, he and the crew were kidnapped by Cy-Kill; Jack was one of the three that didn't join the Renegades. Major Mo	Nissan 300ZX	Major Mo is an experienced soldier and mentor for the young 'uns; he tutored the "Robo Rebel" kids and exonerated them when they foiled a dastardly Renegade plot. In timelines where Leader-1 is out of the picture, Mo tends to lead: he was the rebel leader in a timeline where Leader-1 never became the Guardian leader and commanded the Autobot-Guardian forces after Leader-1's death in the 'amalgam' timeline. Motosan	Honda ATC 200	Motosan helped Leader-1 stop Cy-Kill from abducting and brainwashing the candidates at a presidential debate. Pumper	Fire engine	Pumper served on Command Center 6 and thus engaged Cy-Kill's Thruster off Galleon. He and his comrades eventually captured the villain but it was all a con by Cy-Kill! Raizor	VTOL-modified McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom	Raizor, Matt Hunter, and Turbo were fans of alien invasion film Batille Day and attended New York's SciFi Con; Raizor cosplayed as a man with a chainsaw for a hand. This meant he witnessed Doctor Faraji being captured by Renegades and alerted Leader-1 about it.	No real Phantom had VTOL capabilities.	Toy profile
Royal-T	Hawker-Siddeley Harrier GR3/Sea Harrier jet	In Strata 22, Royal-T helped battle dimension-hopping Autobot Spy Changers out of the mistaken belief they were Decepticons. He helped capture Silverstreak.	Harriers had been recently used by the Royal Air Force in the Falklands, hence his alt mode and name. Royal-T appears as a Renegade in "Flight to Earth". Sparky	Pontiac Fiero	She once guarded Cy-Kill's cell. In more prominent adventures, she was one of the competitors in the Alienapolis Five Million. Spay-C	Space shuttle	She failed to stop Sky-Jack stealing an Earth satellite. Boo! Spy-Eye	RAF Panavia Tornado GR1	Cy-Kill let Spy-Eye spot a captive Doctor Anya Turgenova being transferred to the Renegades' Moon base, so the Guardians would be lured into a trap. Professor Von Joy	Porsche 930T	Von Joy is a professor and also a baron! As the Guardian's scientific expert, he created a defoliant for the sinister Go-Vines, created the Ro-Guns Scope and Shotgun, and had a bunch of his weapons pinched by Cy-Kill. Zeemon	Datsun 260Z Fairlady-Z	Zeemon is one of the High Protectors of Gobotron, a just ruler who serves along Leader-1. Last Engineer

When a passing meteorite impacted ancient Gobotron, the Last Engineer devised the Gobot upgrade as a way to survive the rapid climate change, which would transfer organic GoBeing brains into robotic bodies. Ultimately, however, his nemesis the Master Renegade took advantage of this newfound power, and plunged the devastated world into a civil war. After augmenting his own body with cybernetic implants, the Last Engineer went into hibernation, until he was discovered by Leader-1's Guardians. He eventually emigrated to the human colony world of New Earth, where he lived happily for a while- barring an unfortunate incident where the Master Renegade turned him into a parrot.
