He was often notable for his ability to switch his voice and mannerisms from cool and calm to fierce and hot-blooded almost instantly, where many of his roles consisted of Inspector Shiratori in Detective Conan/Case Closed, Rei in Fist of the North Star, the original voice of M'Quve from Mobile Suit Gundam, Prince Demande in Sailor Moon R, Aries Mu in Saint Seiya and also did a lot of voice work for video games such as Rival Schools, Metal Gear Solid and the Super Robot Wars series, in addition to games that included characters he played on TV.
