Notes
- We shouldn't have to tell you that the Raptoricons homage many elements of Jurassic Park.
- Each member of the Raptoricons takes cues from different scientific and pop-cultural reconstructions of dromaeosaur dinosaurs. Gnash is based on the inaccurate but enduring lizard-like raptors of Jurassic Park, and the sparsely feathered Thrashclaw represents a "compromise between feathers and scales" endemic to many modern pop-culture depictions of raptors. Slice and Shred skew towards the paleontologically accurate side of the spectrum; Shred's fluffy Velociraptor adheres to modern knowledge of dinosaur anatomy while Slice was designed to show "how you can make feathered raptors intimidating and cool." [1] And who doesn't think that transforming raptors are cool?
