The name Wind Sheer / Windshear / Wind-Sheer has been applied to several different Transformers characters:
- 2001 — Wind Sheer, the Decepticon jet from the 2001 Robots in Disguise franchise.
- 2003 — Wind Sheer, the stealth-jet Mini-Con partner to Wheeljack from Armada.
- 2004 — Wind Sheer, the Decepticon jet from Generation 1 via the 2003 Universe franchise.
- 2013 — Windshear, the Mini-Con helicopter from Generations.
- 2016 — Wind-Sheer, the Builder Micromaster jet from Beast Wars: Uprising.
It's probably worth noting that the correct spelling of the meteorological term is "wind shear".
