The List is a very, very bad thing to be on.
Being on The List means that you are an Autobot, Decepticon or former Decepticon who has in one way or another stymied the grand plans of Megatron and thus can expect a visit from the Decepticon Justice Division, during which you will experience an excruciatingly painful death. The only reason you aren't dead yet is because they haven't made it to your name on The List... though the fact that you're on it may only become apparent a few moments after the D.J.D. arrives.
Many rank-and-file Decepticons believe the D.J.D. just makes it up as they go, as they've shown no compunction with killing targets of opportunity (or really anyone who gets in their way) and just what it takes to get on The List in the first place can be incredibly cryptic and stupid to the common 'Con. But while the D.J.D. doesn't mind deviating from its strict linear order, The List does exist, and once you're on it the only way you'll survive being struck off is at the whim of the Division or on orders from Megatron himself.
Names on The List
- Black Shadow† — Accepted a bribe from the Autobots to destroy a fleet of Warworlds. Rules of Disengagement
- Blip† — Established, in the eyes of the D.J.D., a "religion". (Blip was the only member.)
- Borebit† — Unknown.
- Bomb-Burst — Likely for joining Bludgeon's Thunderwing-worshipping cult. The Ties That Bind
- Crankcase — Abetted Fulcrum on the planet Clemency. Left alive in order to pursue Overlord's quantum duplicate. Who's Afraid of the DJD?
- Deathsaurus — Abandoned the Decepticon army and stole a Warworld. Pardoned in exchange for providing troop support for the D.J.D. in their hunt for Megatron and his Autobot allies (see below).
- Deathsaurus' troops — Defected alongside their leader. Dozens executed, remaining 500 later pardoned to form D.J.D. army.
- Drift* — Abandoned the Decepticons and defected to the Autobots.
- Flame — Unknown. The Ties That Bind
- Doryu — Unknown. The Ties That Bind
- Finback — Likely for joining Bludgeon's Thunderwing-worshipping cult. The Ties That Bind
- Fulcrum — Survived a K-Con bombing mission. Believed dead by the D.J.D. following his apparent suicide on Clemency. Who's Afraid of the DJD?
- Flywheels† — Unknown. The Ties That Bind
- Grimlock — Rejoined the Autobots after a short stint as a Decepticon. Losing him angered Megatron personally, and he told the D.J.D. to move him up the List. This sort of change in position has only happened twice that we know of. The Ties That Bind
- Heretech† — Unknown.
- Howlback — Unknown. The Ties That Bind
- Kakuryu — Unknown. The Ties That Bind
- Krok — Abetted Fulcrum on the planet Clemency. Left alive in order to pursue Overlord's quantum duplicate. Who's Afraid of the DJD?
- Megatron — Defected to the Autobots and publically denounced the Decepticon cause. Top-priority target superseding all others.
- Misfire — Abetted Fulcrum on the planet Clemency. Left alive in order to pursue Overlord's quantum duplicate. Who's Afraid of the DJD?
- Overlord* — Abandoned the Decepticon cause after the inception of Phase Six protocols.
- Rairyu — Unkown. The Ties That Bind
- Scorponok — Unknown. May have something to do with his habit of meddling in the development of other species in violation of Cybertronian law. The Ties That Bind
- Skip — Unknown. The Ties That Bind
- Skullgrin — Likely for joining Bludgeon's Thunderwing-worshipping cult. The Ties That Bind
- Shockwave — Number one on the List following the Surge. The Ties That Bind
- Spinister — Abetted Fulcrum on the planet Clemency. Left alive in order to pursue Overlord's quantum duplicate. Who's Afraid of the DJD?
- Starscream — Was on an earlier version of The List for unknown crimes, though it's probably not hard to guess what they were and why he was Listed. He was later removed for reasons unknown. An Axe to Break the Ice
† Executed by the D.J.D, or presumed so.
* Quantum duplicate aboard the Lost Light executed, still at large slaughterhouse The Permanent Revolution
