Agent Simmons is a human in the Movie continuity family.

Agent Reginald "Reggie" Simmons is one of the head officers of Sector Seven in a long line of Simmonses who were head officers in Sector Seven. His great grandfather pulled N.B.E.-1, the first-discovered Transformer, out of the ice, and his grandfather and father prepared Sector Seven against the day that more N.B.E.s would arrive on Earth. He might come off as a jerk, but he takes this work very personally. After all, it's in his blood.

He's a just a smidge off his nut—eccentric, weird, crazy, whatever you want to call it. He's strange, and he wears Sector Seven underwear and clip on ties.

Prime Directives prequel comics

In 2003, Simmons lead a team of Sector 7 agents to capture Bumblebee, then known as N.B.E.-2, by luring him into a trap using an artificial isotope derived from the sub-atomic matter of the cube, which put out an almost identical energy signature to that of the cube. After spending two days waiting in the New Mexico desert, Bumblebee appeared, followed by Barricade, Blackout, and Starscream. Thanks to the Decepticons, who destroyed several Apache helicopters and tried to hack into Sector 7's network, Simmons's plan to capture Bumblebee failed horribly.

Sadly, Sector Seven's insurance does not cover "Giant robots", because Giant robots don't exist.

Agent Simmons went to the Witwicky residence when Sector Seven suspected that Sam Witwicky had contact with an N.B.E. they were tracking. Taking Sam and Mikaela into custody, he got too into the bad cop role, threatening Sam with life imprisonment, threatening Mikaela's father's parole, and revealing Mikaela's own criminal record. This worked until a seriously P.O.ed Optimus Prime decided to pay Sam and Mikaela's bail—by ripping the roof of their SUV off. Though the Autobots easily disarmed the Agents, Simmons revealed that the only communication he was authorized to have with the NBEs was to tell them he wasn't authorized to communicate with them. He also refused to answer any questions from Sam and Mikaela about Sector Seven or how they knew of the Autobots, prompting an annoyed Bumblebee to release lubricant on him. As the Autobots left, Mikaela had Simmons strip as punishment for threatening her father. However, Bumblebee, Sam, and Mikaela were later recaptured.

After arriving at Hoover Dam (and presumably the longest shower of his life), Agent Simmons told Sam and Mikaela that they may have gotten off on the wrong foot. Taking them to see the Mega Man, Sam told Simmons of Megatron's plans. However, Frenzy had infiltrated the Dam, and sent a message to the Decepticons, causing Starscream to attack. Sam urged Simmons to release Bumblebee, saying he would help, but Simmons was only convinced after some armedg persuasion on the part of Captain Lennox. Simmons, Secretary Keller, Maggie Madsen, and Glen Whitmann managed to send out an S.O.S. through old radios in the Dams archives, while Keller and Simmons provided cover fire from an attacking Frenzy.

Agent Simmons' status after Sector Seven was shut down is unknown. Originally, Simmons wore a normal agent's suit. After Mikaela made him strip his uniform, Simmons was given a new uniform to replace the lubricated one. His new outfit made him look like even more of an authority-enforcer. He also added a cap and glasses

Unposable weirdo.

This Screen Battles pack comes a redecoed Camaro Concept Deluxe class Bumblebee featuring a more accurate grey colour scheme for his robot mode parts and a silver painted face and toes. The pack also comes with non-posable figurines of Sector Seven agent Reggie Simmons and two Sector Seven soldiers; one carrying a cryo-freezing cannon and one carrying a grenade launcher.

This set comes in a special window box featuring a diorama background of the scene where Bumblebee is captured by Sector Seven forces.
