A Non-Biological Extraterrestrial (alternately Non-Biological Entity), or N.B.E., is Sector Seven's designation for the mysterious Transforming robots they've been investigating. They dug the first one out of the ice over a hundred years ago, and they've been preparing for others to arrive ever since.
Each N.B.E. has been given a identifying number in sequence of their discovery:
- N.B.E.-01 - Megatron
- N.B.E.-02 - Bumblebee (originally given to Optimus Prime)
- N.B.E.-03 - Barricade
- N.B.E.-23 - Blackout
