Working together, Whirl (after revealing Killmaster's real name as "Murderking") and Cyclonus managed to cut off Killmaster's wand arm and zap him with his own weapon - which Whirl revealed was effectively a teleporter - sending the disarmed Killmaster to wherever in the universe he had just sent Ten and Swerve. {{storylink|Dissolution Part 4: Bad Moon Rising|Bad Moon Rising}}

This article is about the Decepticon with a wand. For the real-life special effects guy, see Greg Killmaster{{#switch:{{#sub:Greg Killmaster|-1}} != .= ?= .

Killmaster is a Decepticon from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
I'm mad because Movie Megatron stole my mouth.

Killmaster has a wand. His real name is Murderking. No, really! He also has a penchant for bi-locational weaponry.

IDW Generation 1 continuity

During the reign of Zeta Prime, in the earliest days of the Great War Killmaster was taken prisoner by the Autobots. While conducting a prisoner exchange with the Decepticons to free Ratchet, Orion Pax expected the Autobots would have to trade a high-ranking Decepticon like Killmaster get him back. Omega's Conundrum

Over the course of the Great War, Killmaster became notable for his numerous self-designed weapons; his infamous "wand," capable of teleporting beings to an extradimensional "pocket prison," soon became his signature weapon. Bad Moon Rising He would build on this device to develop a "moongun," a device capable of destroying planetoids. Animals The Autobot weapons engineer Brainstorm studied many of Killmaster's inventions, Modes of Production and the Galactic Council was able to acquire the blueprints for Killmaster's moongun, and reverse-engineer a series of weapons known as "geobombs." Animals

And yet somehow, Heretech manages to look even more ridiculous than Killmaster.

On the battlefield, Killmaster was a part of the dreaded Warriors Elite, and fought alongside them during the Battle for Hell's Point. The Gloaming He once held Ratchet at gunpoint (or possibly wandpoint), but his most notable enemy was the psychotic Autobot Whirl. The hulking Decepticon considered Whirl to be his arch-nemesis and vice-versa; in order to compensate for the size difference between himself and his Decepticon enemy, Whirl developed a habit of composing bombastic, self-aggrandizing speeches that he would recite whenever the two crossed paths. The Reluctant Specialist This rivalry came to an abrupt end when Killmaster was abducted by the time travelling Necrobot, who had identified Murderking as one of the "Disappeared" and sought to bring him to the future before he could vanish from history. A World Misplaced Whirl assumed that Killmaster had died; for the sake of his ego, he invented a story that he had broken into a Decepticon medical facility, crushed Killmaster's brain while he was recharging, and shoved his wand up his... ahem. Cybertronian Homesick Blues

As with all the Transformers that the Necrobot had rescued, Killmaster was disoriented by the temporal journey, and placed in a oversized stasis pod to recover... one that was locked up and kept near the back of the stasis chamber. Naturally this made it irresistible for Swerve and Whirl to open. Killmaster, confronted by his old nemesis, immediately went on a rampage, zapping Ten with his wand before engaging Whirl in combat. When a horribly injured Cyclonus arrived, Killmaster used the distraction to send Swerve away with his wand before advancing on the other two. A World Misplaced

Working together, Whirl and Cyclonus managed to cut off Killmaster's wand arm and zap him with his own weapon, trapping Killmaster inside his own prison dimension. Bad Moon Rising Brainstorm used the wand to bring back Swerve and Ten (but left Killmaster behind) before tracking the teleport signal to its source...while he complimented the many innovations Killmaster had created. According to Whirl, the only thing that Killmaster loved more than bi-locational weaponry was "being a master of killing" (get it?). Modes of Production

Notes

  • Killmaster and Whirl literally refer to each other as "Nemesis", which is the best worst thing ever. A World Misplaced
