Monstercon

Monstercons are a Decepticon subgroup from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Monstercons are among the Decepticon troops stationed on the planet Clemency in the Kol System.

IDW Generation 1 continuity

After the end of the Great War, Krok's team of "expropriation specialists" were scavenging energon and spare parts from the Decepticon corpses on Clemency. Misfire's insistence on sampling the harvested energon backfired when he took some from a Monstercon that had overdosed on circuit speeders, leaving him more than a little...wired. Shattered Glass

The Monstercons Fangry and Squeezeplay were captured by their fellow Decepticon Demolishor, who was actually a Transformium construct in service of the Underbase. As part of their Robot Master experiment, the two Monstercons were forcibly binary bonded with the humans Donnie and Nestor. They were later freed by the crew of the Annex. Coalescence
