Longtooth is an Autobot in the Generation 1 continuity

Ravage is not a little dog.

Longtooth is a Pretender whose shell takes the appearance of a humanoid walrus. He protects the Autobots' underwater installations.

Fiction

Marvel Comics continuity

While hunting for the Matrix, Longtooth lead his team (consisting of the other smaller Pretenders) to a maritime planet where a strange whale-like creature which had long been believed to be extinct surfaced. During the investigation, the creature ate Longtooth's leg, which drove him to madness. He then maniacally hunted for the creature, putting a peg in place of his lost leg.

(This story was basically Furman's take on the tale of Moby Dick.)

• Longtooth (Small Pretender)

Longtooth's inner robot transforms into an amphibious transport vehicle of fictional design, although most of the vehicle mode's mass is composed of a removable "backpack" part. His shell represents a humanoid walrus with an electronic eye.
