Star Trek vs. Transformers
Scotty was present on the Enterprise when it detected a distress signal from the dilithium mining colony on Cygnus Seven, staying behind as Captain Kirk took a team to investigate. Later, Kirk called Scotty and Doctor McCoy to join him on the surface and attempt to repair a giant robot that he had incapacitated. Running diagnostics on the machine, Scotty was amazed to find how similar its internal circuitry was to a human brain. Prime's Directive, Part One

- According to Transformers: Cybertron writer David McDermott, the engineering-minded residents of Gigantion were all given Scottish accents in homage to Scotty.
