Karen was co-starring on an unnamed movie with Harold Edsel, with which the Autobots somehow managed to get themselves involved. Karen was given the taxing acting role of running up to Harold as he crawled away from various crashed Autobots, expressing her concern and kissing him. - Karen Fishook is a parody of Carrie Fisher, or more specifically her character in the Star Wars movies, Princess Leia (she has exactly the same 'hair buns').
- Interestingly, she was voiced by Susan Blu, who would later voice Arcee. Arcee would be described by her creators as "the naked mechanical equivalent of Princess Leia".
