Hallmark of the Space Knights, the Neutralizer is a deadly weapon utilized in their war against the Dire Wraiths.

Though the weapon will drop any Wraith it hits, its effectiveness on Cybertronians is very inconsistent.

While investigating the crash of a Camien ship in the Gray Area, Rom armed his Neutralizer before realizing the sole survivor needed his help.

After Stardrive had graduated from the academy, she was given two massive Neutralizers that were integrated directly into her biology. The Dire Wraiths had seemingly never gotten the chance to examine a Neutralizer as the ones on Mining Colony 25-6-41 were very eager to slay Cadet Auxin for his weapon. When a Decepticon/Dire Wraith alliance invaded Orchid Crossing, Livia slew Ursa Major with her many Neutralizers. Shining Armor #1

Unaware of the difference between Autobots and Decepticons, Rom fired his weapon at Ultra Magnus doing minor damage to the Autobot's arm and inviting a retaliatory strike. When Bumblebee tried (twice) to have a reasonable discussion with Stardrive, she shot him with her Neutralizer (twice). After a Dire Wraith had merged with Sky Blast, Neutralizers proved ineffective against the resulting abomination. Later on, on the surface of Xetaxxis, Rom shot Magnus dead center and into stasis while the Autobot was in the midst of an anti-organic rant. Shining Armor #2 Magnus rebooted in seconds however prompting the Space Knights to strike even harder. Rom and Livia fired their Neutralizers in unison at the blue Autobot but he remained standing. Livia later fired a blast at Starscream who was surprised that the weapon actually hurt. Stardrive later bluffed to Starscream that she would use hers to destroy the energon synthesizer. Shining Armor #3 When she attempted to desert the order of the Space Knights, Livia used one of her Neutralizer to shoot down the femme's jet mode. Undeterred, Stardrive turned to car mode and rammed Livia dead-center while dodging a second Neutralizer barrage. Sata came to her commander's defence but her Neutralizers proved little more than an annoyance to the Camien. Shining Armor #4

In 2016, Rom used the weapon to slay the false Joe Colton and three other Wraiths posing as members of G.I. Joe. Crisis Intervention In the midst of a heated disagreement, Rom fired his Neutralizer at Optimus Prime who, despite being blown back, was undamaged.
