- Cindarr is a Darkling Lord from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
An elderly, muscular Darkling Lord, Cindarr's imposing frame belies the calm and calculating mind of an intellectual, ever willing to lend an ear or a word of advice to his leader Virulina.

Like the other Darkling Lords, Cindarr was a follower of Darkstorm, and one of the warriors who vied for the favor of the capricious Merklynn, competing with Leoric's Spectral Knights. The Curtain Following the great solar de-alignment that led to the destruction of Prysmos, Cindarr was one of the few Prysmosians who survived the cataclysm and eventually came to take up refuge in the magically-recreated city of New Prysmos beneath Cybertron. With the Darkling Lords now led by Virulina, Cindarr was one of the "Visionaries' who attended a meeting where the assembled Prysmosians debated what to do about the Cybertronians controlling the planet.
