Captain Cartridge is here to save the day... the day spent in line waiting for that panel your just have to get into, or for that limited-run con-exclusive toy. Or for the bathroom. Despite being a newbie to the con scene, this cosplaying character has the energy to make the interminable wait something akin to tolerable.

• Con Crew (10-pack, 2019)

Captain Cartridge is a redeco of D-Pad Chad, transforming into a handheld gaming console. The Captain is also sporting a red fabric cape which is permanently affixed to his neck joint, but at least does not get in the way of his transformation. You just end up with a becaped game system.

He was only available in the San Diego Comic-Con 2019 exclusive "Con Crew" 10-pack, which was also available about a month after the show through Hasbro Pulse. This set includes his fellow Line Leaguers Con-Packtor and Vigitente, as well as the Fantastic Fuelers (Carb O'Nate, Coffeemus Prime, Hal A. Peno, Sumthin' Fishy) and Meet N' Greets (Botarazzi, Inky Inkerson, Scribzilla).

Notes

• The set's instructions show his game pad mode vertically oriented, just as D-Pad Chad's do, similarly to the vertically-designed Game Boy system. However, he is clearly meant to be laid horizontally, with the control thumbpad on the left and buttons on the right, more akin to just about every other handheld system since.
