:But I'm unsure about the "curious, since the G2 toyline contained zero post-movie characters" line. While it's true that the post-movie characters proper weren't among the G2 toys, I recall those season-3 eps still featuring G2 chars. For instance, it made at least a little sense to play "Fight or Flee" because it opened with Aerialbots and later spotlighted the Combaticons. I feel like that should be mentioned so it doesn't read as though the season-3 eps were completely nonsensical choices. On the other hand, I don't remember all of the season-3 eps they used, so the pattern might not actually fit.
